Versatile haven

The transition from sunny island to shaded refuge is designed to be extremely flexible: folded back, the canopy discretely frames the cushion landscape, opened, it curves over the private cove like a cocoon. The airy design of the teak slats and elegant shaping of the back give the solid material an unusually light appearance. Newcastle is available as a two or three-seater – each with an upholstered bench that disappears under the seat – without cushions – when not in use. The teak tray included in the delivery dispenses snacks and drinks throughout the day.

As casual as a lounge, comfortable as a sofa, and as functional as a Beach Chair with canopy – a modern solitaire with multiple advantages.

Accomplished combination

The upholstered bench fits perfectly in the space under the seat and then the upholstery can be placed on top of it.

Special terms of delivery for large furniture pieces

Please be advised that this particularly large-format furniture is only delivered in its entirety/not in individual parts as standard. Please get in touch with us urgently in advance of delivery should special structural conditions need to be taken into account on site. You will find a comment field under "Your details” when viewing the history of your order online.

Dimensions

• Once your order has been checked by Garpa customer service, you will receive an order confirmation via email.
• Delivery of our furniture within Switzerland is generally within two to three weeks free of charge. Our shipping company will notify you directly via telephone of your delivery. 
• Small parts and products shipped by parcel service are usually delivered within approximately one week.
• Due to the current circumstances longer delivery times may apply. We would like to apologize for any inconvenience.
• Should you purchase items with different delivery times, you have the option to request a partial delivery for items available for immediate delivery when ordering under “Review and Order” in the shopping basket. 
• Furniture orders are delivered by trained delivery drivers. They will also assemble and set up the furniture (with the exception of drilling holes, fundamental building work or other building work), position the furniture where you wish to have it and take the packaging with them. As with the delivery, this service is naturally free of charge.
